Cool! There are a couple shots I've wanted to do with that, but there are never any around. Will there be rides? You should try some longer exposure shots on them at night if there are! Crazy light-trails!

Don't you worry my friend. I plan on taking full advantage of that. there's a big ferris wheel and a carossel so should be good. Christ I used to like going to carnivals for the rides and stuff but now i get more excited about taking photos

That's awesome. I got the idea from this, btw [link] . Looks gorgeous, maybe knowing what it looks like sorta before hand will help set up the shots!

I'm also very jealous right now.

More films like that, or more good short films in general. None spring to mind for the former, but I know a bunch of really incredible films in general.

Well, I try to link at least one video of interest at the top of each of my journals, but I'll toss you some links to my favorites:

The ones on top are my all time favorites. I think I'm going to dedicate a portion of an upcoming journal to them, actually.

These are my top 4:
I consider this one to probably be the best thing I've ever seen. I stopped breathing when I first watched it: [link]

This one is amazing, but it's crazy dark. Like, Scandinavian dark, if that tells you anything: [link]

This one is just really emotionally beautiful and intense: [link]

And this one is just brilliant in every way: [link]

And here's a list of some other pretty great ones...

if you want any more, give me a shout, but these are probably the best I've found.

Thank you! If you're interested, I took a similar picture last night using an antique camera with B&W film which I'll be hopefully posting tomorrow when I get the prints back (and hopefully a decent scanner).

Well, I'm heading out to pick up the prints in about half an hour, here's hoping it worked out, and I can find a scanner.
